Ben Vandermeer Performance

Hi,

 

I am Ben a fully qualified Personal Trainer having graduated from Bournemouth University. I studied Sports Science giving me a strong academic foundation in exercise physiology, biomechanics and performance training. I am also a qualified boxing coach adding some high energy to my training programmes.

I also hold advanced certifications including Level 4 Nutrition and Strength & Conditioning.

 

Having achieved Master Trainer at Virgin Active which included 1:1 Personal Training, Strengthening & Conditioning Classes, Boxing Padwork, Kettlebells. I moved to Fitness Lab in Soho which was an appointment only gym where I helped clients reach their training goals to get fitter and stronger.

An opportunity to join Until in Soho arrived and it was the right time to start my own business. So please get in touch if it sparks an interest!

Level 3 Personal Trainer & Founder

I am a fully qualified Level 3 Personal Trainer. I have also completed a degree in Sports Science at Bournemouth University, giving me a strong academic foundation in exercise physiology, biomechanics, and performance training. In addition to my core qualifications, I hold advanced certifications, including Level 4 Nutrition and Strength & Conditioning, allowing myself to provide comprehensive fitness and dietary guidance tailored to individual goals. I am also a qualified boxing coach, adding a dynamic and high-energy element to my training programs. 

 

I believe that successful training begins with truly understanding each client’s unique needs, goals, and motivations. Known for my excellent listening skills, I take the time to get to know every client on a personal level, allowing me to tailor my approach to what drives them most. My coaching philosophy is centered around mastering the fundamentals by focusing on building simple, effective habits that form the foundation of long-term success. I emphasise consistency and incremental progress, helping clients develop sustainable routines that lead to lasting results. By gradually building on these habits, I can ensure that clients continuously improve without hitting plateaus, keeping them motivated and engaged throughout their fitness journey. For me, it's about creating a positive, personalised training experience that leads to real, lasting change. 

 

Outside of personal training, I am passionate about staying active and enjoy boxing as a way to keep fit and to challenge myself. I also love spending time with my family and friends and believe that socialising and staying connected is key to a balanced lifestyle. I get a positive energy from these personal interests which is something I bring into my work, helping me stay motivated and engaged with my clients at Until Soho.
